  23. Part of why I keep a work journal is to have a list of things that used to scare me… that no longer do. When working on a new type of problem, write about your fear. Then, a few months later, go back and review. Is it still scary? No? Progress!

  28. Three episodes in to Hellbound on Netflix and loving it. Tense, fascinating and a great concept.
  29. Watched Silent Night (the new one)… and it’s a lot. Very funny, but the last 20 minutes are a punch in the gut. Definitely worth watching.
  30. I run my group’s weekly knowledge sharing sessions, and I’ve decided that I’m doing a talk on Monday that combines Buddhism and growth mindset with being on call… because tho it can be seen as suffering, its real purpose is the cessation of suffering.
